Welcome Adam

I would like to congratulate Adam on his new post and Miranda on her new role. As usual when a imprint has a change of editor there has been some anxiety from established xcite authors (see Yahoo) as to whether Adam will place the same emphasis and importance as Miranda. Miranda has stated that the xcite ethos will not change. Still, a new editor often means a change of approach or, at least, style. Do not fear, fellow authors. I for one am particularly indebted to Adam. I sent him my first work of any kind. Yes, he (quite rightly!) rejected my submission, but he took time to write with helpful criticism and encouragement to continue my endeavours. I have collected other rejection slips since then, but Adam's remains my favourite. Thank you Adam and I look forward to the challenge of having you accept one of my submissions!
