Hello everyone - how are you all?! Seems like I've been snowed in and under for ages - too much white stuff and too much work! Very excited as we have our own Xcite Books stand at London Book Fair this year - feels very grown-up! We are still accepting regular submissions for Xcite Books - some people have asked if we will now only published 'paid' books. We will continue to publish 12 Xcite Books a year, most of which will be short story anthologies plus a few novels. Obviously that makes the competition very tight for those slots which is why the Xtra service will appeal to some authors.
Clear as mud now eh?!

One of the frustrations of being a publisher is rejecting good manuscripts because I don't have the budget to publish them. One of the frustrations for authors is getting their work noticed and achieving it's potential.
